I err don’t think by all the nature of his Satanic tattoos he cares much for acceptance. Regardless of the specialized “geek culture” tattoos and if he may or may not be interested in that in the future. There is a very real spiritual theme expressed across this man’s body. Now while it is very possible his spiritual self might change it’s also equally possible that he knows himself at least at that depth well enough to know that will never change.
It is silly to assume that because of your experience and your assumptions about his maturity to make the claim he hasn’t already evolved spiritually enough to know himself. Also, you make the assumption that his interests will change so drastically his tattoos will lose all meaning. I am so with you about getting tattoos that are timeless but I wouldn’t judge someone else for their choices. If someone had a smokey and the bandit tattoo by the way they’d be pretty lit. Fads come back and not sure if you noticed that one has been back for a while. o.o
Things like Starwars are iconic whether you like the series or not, same with Zelda. Even if they are not one should not get tattoos for other people, they will always be iconic to his life period, and even if his interests change he may treasure these mementos on his skin. Or not. The point is neither you nor I can know how much thought has gone into these choices, and that you feel you need to judge or claim some sort of superior understanding suggests it’s perhaps yourself that may need to evolve.
