20. Scott Garitson- Til Death

Til Death is a Denver-based private tattoo workshop that only takes appointments. Growing up in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, Clinton Lee noticed the tattoo trade for the real first time on the playground of his elementary school. The gas station vending machine in his community offered to young Clinton an endless amount of temporary tattoos, and he employed the money he earned for lunch to beautify the arms of his classmates. In adult life, he obtained more knowledge and exposure through art, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts with importance on oil painting and portraiture. The task of Clinton primarily consists of Ornamental Blackwork and American and Japanese Traditional styles. Classic imagery and line work with tattoos that will endure the test of time are our focus. To him, a tattoo must persist for years. In addition to large-scale installations, he produces smaller one-shot pieces, appropriating iconic imagery and manifesting it in an excellent light.
