The most influential athlete of the CAAWS, Jennifer ‘Jen’ Kish, is Canadian Union Rugby player, who captained the ‘Seven squads’ from 2012-2016. She is a retired Olympic Bronze Medalist who returned to the fitness industry as a fitness coach to help people to achieve their fitness goals. My dad was out of town at the time so I gave him a call, bagged him to wire me some money and then signed his name on his behalf. When I look by on that day, It baffles me how easy it is for underage kids to get inks nowadays. Anyway, at the time my dad didn’t care too much for tattoos, but when he got back into town, I showed him what I had done and shockingly he wasn’t mad.”
She further said,
“I wanted to represent my country in the sport I love playing. It was the logo that sat right on the top of my heart (on my jersey) when I played, so to me, it was fitting. I wanted the tattoo to be big and I didn’t want to hide it. The calf seemed like the best possible spot for it.”
Later, in 2017, She went to the tattoo artist Jen Danger to cover her whole lower right leg with the maple leaves around the Rugby Canada Logo. This process continued till March 10, 2019.
On March 10, 2019, she tweeted,
