Chester Charles Bennington was an American singer, songwriter, actor, and musician. He was the lead vocalist of the band, Linkin Park. He had also been the lead vocalist of other bands such as Dead by Sunrise, Stone Temple Pilots, and Grey Daze. Chester also appeared in Crank, Crank 2, Artifact and Saw 3D. He was one of the most popular vocalists of all time and was number 46 on the list of the “100 Metal Vocalists of All Time” by Hit Parader magazine. Chester had many interesting tattoos on his body and found them really amusing.  Let us take a look at the tattoos he had on his body.

1. Chest Tattoo

Tattoo: The chest of the deceased singer contained a large tattoo of a rose right in the middle of it. There were vines flowing out it and three banners, one above and two below the rose with the initials, “CB TB”, “JMB DSB TLB”, and  “IB” written on the banners. The tattoo was completed by two dragons on either of his shoulders.

Meaning: The initials stood for the members of his family whom he adored very much. The names included his spouse, Talinda Bennington, and his own name, Chester Bennington side by side. Then came the initials of his sons, Jamie M Bennington, Draven Sebastian Bennington, Tyler Lee Bennington, and Isaiah Bennington which completes his family.

2. Band Name Tattoo

Tattoo: The lower back of the vocalist contained a tattoo of the name of the band, “LINKIN PARK” on it in goth letters.

Meaning: There is a story behind this one as Jeff made him bet that he would get a tattoo of the band if they turned Platinum, which did happen and hence Chester held his end of the bargain and got the tattoo on his lower back.

3. Dragon Tattoo

Tattoo: The back of the singer was covered in one of the most beautiful tattoos. His upper back contains a tattoo of an old tree with little ghosts around it done on an eery, grey background with clouds. Both the left and the right-hand sides contained a tattoo of a Dragon, with their tails on his lats and moving downwards with their heads with growling mouths, facing each other just below the middle part of his back, above his band name tattoo.

4. Pisces Tattoo

Tattoo: Chester’s left shoulder contained a tattoo of two fish, chasing each other’s tail, making a circle in the water.

Meaning: Chester Bennington was born on March 20 and his zodiac sign was Pisces, which is why he got the tattoo of the symbol of the Pisces.

5. Koi Fish Tattoo

Tattoo: His right shoulder also contained a tattoo of a fish.

Meaning: The one on his right shoulder was a tattoo of the Japanese Koi Fish which represents good fortune and luck.

6. Pirate Skull Tattoo

Tattoo: Chester’s right elbow contained a tattoo of a pirate’s skull on it, wearing a bandana and an eye patch. There were also, two swords tattooed below the skull in the style of crossbones.

Tattoo: The lower side of his right forearm contained a tattoo of another skull, made over the petals of a rose with scales and fishy limbs on the back.

8. Flames Tattoo

Tattoo: Both the wrists of the singer contains tattoos of red and blue flames, reaching up to the middle of his forearms.

Tattoo: The outer side of his right lower leg contained another large tattoo of a green dragon.

Tattoo: The side of his left lower leg contained a tattoo of a small fairy on it.

Meaning: The tattoo is not actually a fairy but was a tattoo design from the band known as the Linkin Park soldier which many fans of the band have.
