Joanna Noelle “JoJo” Levesque is an American Actress, Singer, and Songwriter. Her debut single, “Leave (Get Out)” topped the US Billboards Pop Songs chart which she released when she was just 13 years old. Since then Jojo has released many hit albums such as, “The High Road” and “Too Little Too Late” among others. She has appeared in The Bernie Mac Show, American Dreams and Romeo. Jojo loves getting inked and has many inks on her body. Let us see what they are and the meanings they hold.
1. ‘Quote’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a quote which reads, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference.” inked around Jojo’s right wrist.
Meaning: The poem is actually a Serenity Prayer which Jojo really likes. It is inked in Black and Green.

Tattoo: Just below her Serenity Prayer tattoo is another tattoo design of arrows done around her wrist like a bracelet.

Tattoo: Her right wrist already looked like it was adorned in jewellery but Jojo added another tattoo below her arrows one of a Turquoise Bracelet.
Meaning: Turquoise is Jojo’s favourite colour and she also described the tattoo as, “Sagittarius. Sedona. Bracelets. Vibes.”
4. ‘Map’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The underside of Jojo’s left wrist contains the tattoo of the outline of the map of the World excluding Antarctica.
5. ‘Ever to Excel’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of her stomach contains the words, “ever to excel” tattooed in red ink.
Meaning: The words are from her favourite poem, Iliad by Homer.
6. ‘Neck’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The back of Jojo’s neck contains her surname, Levesque and the phrase, Live Free OR Die inked on it.
Meaning: She got her name tattooed so that it may live on forever with her.
She said, “My father is the only boy out of his siblings, and I’m the only child of his. So after him when I get married the Levesque name will be no longer in our family. So I wanted to kind of immortalize it on myself.” Live Free or Die is the motto of New Hampshire, where Jojo spent a major part of her childhood in Keene.
7. ‘Red Star and the Clover’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of a star done in red ink between Jojo’s right middle and ring fingers. Her right ring finger contains the tattoo of a 4 Leaf Clover.
Meaning: The 4 Leaf Clover is a sign of Good Luck.
8. ‘Love and Music’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The starting of her right thigh contains a tattoo of the words, “love & music” surrounded by music notes and sheets.
Meaning: Jojo got this tattoo to represent her love for music.

Tattoo: The side of her right hand contains the word, Truth inked on it.
Meaning: Jojo is a truth-seeker. She described the tattoo saying, “I want to be surrounded by truth. I want to represent what is true. In a spiritual sense, it talks about my faith. It’s vague but it’s meant to be a variety of things.”
10. ‘Music Note’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is an ink of a music note on Jojo’s left ring finger.
Meaning: Jojo said explaining the tattoo, “You know, my first tattoo was a Treble Clef note on my marriage finger, symbolizing that I am fully committed to music. There is nothing else in the world that makes me feel that way”
11. ‘Stars’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Jojo’s right foot contains a cluster of stars. There are 7 stars in total, 3 Black and 4 Hollow.
12. ‘Ear’ Tattoos
Tattoo: The inside of Jojo’s right ear contains the tattoo of two musical notes done in black along with three red dots in red ink.
Meaning: The music notes represent her love for both making and hearing music. She explained the red dots by saying, “These are just musical notes. And then people think that these are freckles — they’re not. They’re just three red dots. Don’t ask me why they’re there, I just think they’re kinda cool looking.”
13. ‘Massachusetts’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is an outline of Massachusetts done in red ink on the right side of Jojo’s body.
Meaning: She got this tattoo for her love for Massachusetts where she grew up.
14. ‘Heart’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a symbol which resembles the heart on the inner side of Jojo’s left ankle.
Meaning: The symbol is a West African symbol which means, “By God’s grace, All will be well.”

Tattoo: The outer side of Jojo’s left wrist contains the tattoo of a Dinosaur Skeleton.
16. ‘Triangles’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Jojo’s left ring finger contains the tattoo of a triangle with a circle over it. Both her ring fingers contain the tattoo of a triangle with a line through it.
Meaning: Jojo explained that the triangle with the circle is a symbol called, “Learn.” And the triangle with the line through it means, “Transcend.”

Meaning: Jojo recently revealed the tattoo on Instagram with the caption, Bluebird of Happiness.
