Jonida Maliqi is an Albanian television host, singer, entrepreneur, style icon, and philanthropist. She also appeared as Juliet in the Albanian theatre production of Roméo et Juliette (musical). She has co-hosted the Albanian version of Dancing with the Stars and also appeared as a judge on The Voice (Albania) in 2016. Maliqi is a trendsetter and her style is followed by many women around the globe.

1. ‘Warrior’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of a warrior woman wearing a large, ornate headdress on her right shoulder. There is also a red mark below it and an outline of the sun behind the woman.
Meaning: The tattoo of the warrior woman on her shoulder represents the guardian angel that protects her and her family.
2. ‘Love-Hate’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Maliqi’s right upper arm has a tattoo of the words, “LOVE” and “HATE” tattooed on it. The words are however connected to each other with the word “HATE” forming the upper half in black in and “LOVE” forming the lower one in red ink.
Meaning: The words “LOVE” and “HATE” occurring together is a popular tattoo that represents the battle between good and evil and also the fact that life is full of emotions and one should focus on love rather than hate.
3. ‘Date Tree’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inside of her right forearm has a tattoo of dates tattooed on it in the form of a hierarchical chart. It starts with the dates, “1948” and “1954” separated by a heart. The dates in turn point towards the dates, “1977, 1973, and 1981” with them in turn leading to the dates, “2007” and “2011”
Meaning: The dates on her arm represent a date chart containing the date of births of her parents followed by her siblings and her own birthyear i.e. 1983. The dates continue with 2007 and 2011 being the respective birth year for her niece/nephew and her own child.
4. ‘Puzzle’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inside of her right forearm has a tattoo of a red puzzle piece on it with a heart missing from it that is tattooed separately near the piece.
5. ‘Lipstick Mark’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of the singer’s right forearm also has a tattoo of a red lipstick mark on it.
Meaning: The tattoo of the lipstick mark on her forearm is an impression of her sister’s lips.
6. ‘Floral’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Jonida’s right forearm is tattooed with a floral pattern and a black band with designs, around her wrist.
7. Woman Tattoo
Tattoo: The left forearm of the singer has a tattoo of the face of a woman on it. The woman also has a design over her head with a star in the middle.
8. ‘Leaves’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There are tiny stems containing leaves tattooed on either side of her chest, just below her collar bones.
9. Name Tattoo
Tattoo: The back of the singer has a tattoo of the name, “DAN” on it along her spine, surrounded by swirly lines and an intricate design.
Meaning: The name on her back, Dan, represents the name of her son. Jonida and Gent got married in the early 2000s and have a lovely son, Dan whom she adores very much.

Tattoo: Jonida’s lower back has a tattoo of different flowers tattooed on it. The flowers include roses and a lotus.
Meaning: The rose flower represents life and beauty. The lotus represents personal growth and spiritual enlightenment. It also symbolizes rebirth and purity as it is a flower that even blooms in mud.
11. Face Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tiki face tattooed on the back of her left leg, just above her ankle. The face is made out of a crystal and is also surrounded by tiny stones.

Tattoo: There is a band-aid tattooed on the inner side of her right leg, a little above her ankle.
