“I took a little bit of inspiration from rappers. A lot of them will tattoo their face and stuff like this, and I’ve heard a few people say they do it because it’s almost like you can’t go back at that point.”
“I got it because I realized I’m sitting in quarantine, I’m sitting with my knees busted up,” Lee explained. “I can’t get out. I can’t train. I’m like damn, what do I want to do today? Cause I really actually want to fight. That’s what I want to do.
1. Back Tattoo
Tattoo: On his upper back, Kevin has got the tattoo of a fierce-looking lion. The fierce lion symbolizes the courage, dominance, and power of the tattoo wearer. Darren must have chosen this to reflect that he is a strong personality and can fight for himself.
2. Helmet Tattoo
Tattoo: Kevin has got a masterpiece inked all over his head that goes from the top of his head to his upper back. The Tattoo represents the samurai helmet.
Meaning: Kevin said that the tattoo is very inspiring because it puts him in warrior mode. He says that he has always been the warrior of his own life, and this tattoo reminds him to stay strong and continue working hard and not leave the last run unfinished, especially when he has that samurai helmet on him!
“I spent the prime of my life as a warrior. So it just made sense to kind of remind me every day, it’s hard to not finish that extra run
“I tatted the helmet on me to remind me what I actually do,” Lee said. “It will be something that follows me for the rest of my life. I spent the prime of my life as a warrior. So it just made sense to kind of remind myself every day, it’s hard to not finish that extra run. It’s hard not to finish that extra round when you’ve got a f*cking helmet tatted on you.
