Meaning: Silva’s head tattoo is the addition to his whole image of the “Axe Murder.”
2. Script on Left Forearm
Tattoo: The outer part of Silva’s left forearm has a tattoo of a script that reads, Pai, és a minha rocha e a minha fortaleza/Amor eterno.
Meaning: The script is inked in the Brazilian Portuguese language means,
Father, you are my rock and my fortress/Eternal love.”
3. Quote on Left Forearm
Tattoo: The outer part of Wand’s left arm contains a phrase that reads, ‘THANKS GOD. FOR ONE MORE DAY’.
Meaning: This is another representation of Silva’s great faith in God and his gratitude towards God for all the blessings that he receives.
4. ‘Deus é Fiel’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Wanderlei Silva has a tattoo on the front side of his left shoulder in Portuguese language that reads, ‘Deus é fiel’ inked on it. This Portuguese phrase means God is Faithful. Silva is one such martial artist who is famous to be a too religious and perfect believer and follower of his faith and love for God, and this ink is another proof of it.
5. ‘Wand Fight Team Logo’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The outer side of Wanderlei Silva’s right shoulder has a tattoo of a logo of his gym in United States.
Meaning: Wanderlei opened a gym in Vegas as when he moved from Brazil to the US and named it Wand Fight Team. He did all that he could to promote it among people ranging from T-shirt prints, the logos of gym on his fight shorts, his hat, followed by the banner that would hang behind him in the cage when he used to enter for his fight. This ink carries the logo of his own gym and shows the tribute to his gym and his love for his establishment.

Tattoo: The inner side Wanderlei Silva’s right arm has a tattoo of his babe with a text written in Portugal language that reads, ‘o Amor deve ser forte’ which means love must be strong. The tattoo was done by the artist, Steve Soto.
“I picked out the words at the studio. Translated it means, ‘The love must be strong.’ I’m giving that present to her from me. The love in the relationship will be stronger.”
Meaning: The tattoo is the dedication of his love for his beloved wife. He got the words added to the portrait of his wife’s ink on the completetion of twenty years of their happy marriage. He is known to love and adore his wife a lot.

7. ‘Praying Hands And Quote’ Tattoo
Tattoo: In 2010, Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva visited The Crimpson Empire Tattoo Studio and got a tattoo on his upper part of right forearm of two praying hands and a quote that reads, ‘Serve The King Of Kings’ from the tattoo artist Jared.
Meaning: King of Kings, the title is commonly seen as equivalent to that of Emperor, and also for Jesus Christ. Wanderlei is a strong follower of Christianity and respects his faith in Jesus Christ. He got this ink to represent that he is always thankful to Jesus for all that he has been blessed with and prays for his further blessings too.
8. Quote on Right Forearm
Tattoo: The outer side of Wand’s right forearm contains a tattoo of a quote inked in Brazilian Portugal language that reads, “Minha oração de agradecimento/Ensina-me os teus mandamentos.” It means,
My prayer to give thanks/Teach me your commandments.”
9. Writing on Right Wrist
Tattoo: The outer side of Wanderlei’s right arm’s wrist contains a tattoo of a script that reads, Deus é minha força.”
Meaning: The script inked in the Brazilian Portuguese language which means God is my strength. Deus is the Latin word that stands for God or Lord.
