In 2022, the trend is that of barbed wire tattoos! Well, it has been proven by many celebrities who have got themselves the same design. The barbed wire tattoo can mean multiple things – it can be strengthened, a feeling of power and authority, or on the other hand, it can also represent hardships and sorrow. Many people who are religiously inclined also get themselves this design. 1. Justine Skye
Justine Skye got this cool and small barbed wire tattoo done in black ink wrapped around her right ring finger from artist Soto Gangster in November 2016.
2. Cheryl Cole
Cheryl has a tattoo of a beautiful flower which is surrounded by some vines and barbed wires. This tattoo is located on her right thigh and includes a treble clef too. In fact, she has previously revealed that roses are her favorite flowers and the treble clef represents her love for music.
3. Debra Wilson
Debra Wilson has a colorful tattoo of a heart pierced by barbed wire on her right shoulder.
4. Pamela Anderson
Pamela Anderson, the Baywatch sensation, got herself inked with a barbed wire tattoo design on her arm in 1995 for the movie of the same name- Barb Wire. As far as her tattoo is concerned, she explained, “The makeup people were going to paint this on my arm every day, but I had a tattoo artist just sketch it on me and I wore it around for half a day to see how it looked.” Although Anderson has had her tattoo removed, other celebrities have embraced the look.
5. Travis Baker
Travis Barker has quite a funny story behind his barbed wire tattoo design. He (just like Post Malone!) decided to add yet another design to his impressive ink collection but rather than stopping at the tattoo parlor, he chose to bring the artist along to his dentist appointment.
6. Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton has one of the most unique barbed wire tattoo designs. His arms are wrapped in barbed wire which is covering some deer tracks. However, he had it removed after some time. He gives the reason: “I can’t blame it on the tattoo guy, because I had been drinking,” he says. “I drew him this deer track and he just went to the copier and made a copy and slapped it on there.”

Dua Lipa has a cute little tattoo on her forearm – it is a barbed-wire heart done with plain black ink!
