Corbyn Besson’s 3 Tattoos & Their Meanings

Corbyn Matthew Besson is an American singer and songwriter. He is also a member of the boy band, “Why Don’t We”. He released his single, “The Only One” in 2014 and “Marathons” in 2015 when he gained popularity and joined with the others to become a part of “Why Don’t We” in 2016. Corbyn only has a few tattoos on his body but they have really special meanings for him. Let us look at his inks and explore their meanings.

1. ‘Lines’ Tattoo

Tattoo: There are two parallel lines tattooed on the singer’s right forearm in the shape of a band.

Meaning: The tattoo of the lines has a hidden meaning of reading between the lines. The tattoo was posted by Corbyn on his Instagram where he explained, “read between the lines.” this tattoo represents the part of me that believes in the symbolism of things that happen in my life. I’m a big believer that there’s a deeper meaning to everything. you just gotta read between the lines to find it. (kinda ironic that the two lines have a deeper meaning than just being two lines hahaha)

2. ‘Bow and Arrow’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The inner side of his left forearm has a bow and arrow tattooed on it.

Meaning: The tattoo of the bow and arrow represents his sun sign of Sagittarius. The singer was born on 25 November 1998.

3. Design Tattoo

Tattoo: Corbyn’s right forearm has a very special tattoo on it. The inner side of his forearm has the planet, Jupiter on it. Below it is a constellation of stars. There are rings around Jupiter too and an astronaut can be seen floating in the middle, below the constellation. Below the astronaut, the design ends with sound waves mashes together.

Meaning: Corbyn calls this tattoo a summary of himself. The planet Jupiter is the ruling planet of his sun sign, Sagittarius. The constellation on his arm is also the Sagittarius constellation. The astronaut represents his dream of becoming an astronaut before joining the music industry and the music waves mashed together represent his love for music. Corbyn revealed his tattoo on Twitter, explaining, “I’m fascinated by outer space; I’m a Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter; in another life, I’d be an astronaut; music is my destiny; this ink is a summary of me”

Corbyn also has the number “8” tattooed on his body but the tattoo has not been seen in any of his posts. All the members of “Why Don’t We” got the number tattooed on their bodies to represent the release of their debut album, “8 Letters”
