Hayden Capuozzo, known popularly by his stage name, Kayzo is an American producer and DJ. He is known for his special remixing of trap music with hardstyle. Karyzo has also collaborated with many popular artists and released singles, remixes, and EPs. His collaboration with Riot, “Wake Up” reached over 200,000 plays in under 24 hours of its release. He released his debut album, Overload in 2018.
Kayzo is a huge fan of getting inked and both his arms are completely covered in tattoos. Let us take a look at the ones he has and the meanings behind them.
1. ‘Tally Marks’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of his neck, below his ear, has a tattoo of tally marks on it. The tally marks represent the number, 14.
Meaning: The tattoo of the tally marks on his neck represents the number of days he spent in quarantine during the Corona Virus pandemic. He uploaded the photo on his Twitter and wrote, “14-day quarantine so I had to get something to remember it”
2. Skull and Rose Tattoo
Tattoo: The right bicep of the DJ has a skull tattooed on it that has a menacing look and still has one eyeball. There is also a rose flower tattooed on the back of his right upper arm. There are a lot of flowers tattooed on his arms as you will read soon.
3. ‘Rose, TV, and Hand’ Tattoos
Tattoo: There is a little TV set tattooed on his right upper arm that has the face of a dog coming out of it. There is another rose flower tattooed on his upper arm. The area below his elbow has a hand tattooed on it that is holding a stick with a flower on it. There is also a beaded necklace tied around the hand holding the stick.
Meaning: The tattoo of the dog in the Television set represents his love for dogs. He has a few other tattoos to show the same on his body too. The rose is a common tattoo that represents beauty, promises, and new beginnings.
4. ‘Target, Snake, and Spider’ Tattoos
Tattoo: The inside of Kayzo’s right forearm has a tattoo of a snake’s head on it that is seen hissing with its body cut and blood dripping down. The word, “WELCOME” is also tattooed below the snake. There is a tiny spider tattooed below the snake too and a large target tattoo too.
Meaning: The snake on his forearm is a symbol of fertility and creative life. It also represents rebirth and transformation in life.
5. ‘Rose and Butterfly’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inside of his right arm also has a tattoo of a butterfly on it, flying near a rose stick.
Meaning: Both the rose and the butterfly on his forearm are a symbol of beauty and freedom.
6. ‘Rose and Reaper’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of Kayzo’s right forearm has a large rose tattooed on it near his wrist. There is also a tattoo of a cartoon Grim Reaper above the rose, holding a hockey stick instead of a scythe, and the words, “BORN AGAIN” are tattooed below the reaper.
Meaning: The tattoo of the grim reaper holding a hocking stick is a fun tattoo and the rose flower is one of many that you will find tattooed on Kayzo’s body.
7. ‘Scorpion’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a scorpion tattooed on his right wrist too.
Meaning: The scorpion tattoo on his hand represents intimidation, and the ability to control and protect oneself.
8. ‘Skull’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The DJ’s right hand has a tattoo of a skull on it that still has eyes and is screaming. The skull’s head is cracked open and a chain is coming out of it that runs through a loop and joins with another similar skull. His right hand also has a tattoo of barbed wire, just above his knuckles.
9. ‘Skeleton and Alien’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inside of his right wrist has a tattoo of a dog’s skeleton on it. There is also a tiny alien’s head tattooed below the skeleton.
Meaning: The tattoo of a dog’s skeleton on his wrist represents the love that he has for dogs. Kayzo has a pet bulldog right now, who is called Beef.
10. ‘Skull and Beast’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The side of his right forearm has a large tattoo of the head of a growling leopard on it. There is also a tattoo of a skull along with crossbones on his forearm. The skull also has a heart in its mouth.
Meaning: The skull tattoo is a popular design and also represents the protection of valuables. Here, the skull is seen protecting the heart.
11. ‘Finger’ Tattoos
Tattoo: Each of the DJ’s fingers has a long design tattooed on it that is made up of scrambled lines and dots, except his left hand’s ring finger.
12. Spiderweb Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a spiderweb design tattooed on the DJ’s left hand. There is an oval shape left out inside the design that has a tiny rose tattooed inside it.
13. Road Tattoo
Tattoo: Kayzo’s left forearm has a roadway tattooed on it with a car on it that runs through a country road, and desert, leading up to the sun setting behind the mountains. The roadside has tiny tattoo designs including trees, rocks, and other little designs too.
Meaning: The tattoo design shows a country road that represents his love for his hometown of Houston, Texas.
14. ‘Eagle and Pumpkin’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The side of his left forearm has a bald eagle tattooed on it and also, a pumpkin with a wicked smile and large eyes.
Meaning: The tattoo of the American bald eagle goes along with his tribute tattoo to his hometown and represents his American heritage and culture. The pumpkin has the face of an alien on it.
15. Masked Skull Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of his left wrist has a tattoo of another skull on it but this one has a mask over its eyes.
16. ‘Monster and Faces’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inside of his left forearm has a tattoo of a Halloween monster on it that has the head of a carved pumpkin. The pumpkin is surrounded by swirly lines of smoke. There are scary faces tattooed along with the swirly lines too. There is also a bloody knife tattooed on his left forearm below the monster.
17. ‘Grave’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The side of his left forearm also has a tattoo of a coffin on it surrounded by flowers and leaves. The coffin also has a large cross on it.
Meaning: The tattoo of the coffin on his forearm represents the loss of a loved one.
18. ‘Skull, Rose, and Saturn’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The left arm of the DJ has another skull tattooed on it near his elbow with a snake entangled between its teeth and coming out of its eye socket. There is another rose flower tattooed near the skull and a tattoo of the planet, Saturn is tattooed below it.
Meaning: The tattoo of the planet, Saturn represents labor and hard work. Skull tattoos are strongly associated with death and human mortality, whereas the snake sheds its skin and represents rebirth. The tattoo design containing both of them together on Kayzo’s arm represents death and rebirth, or the cycle of life and death.
19. ‘Dog’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The backside of his left upper arm has the face of another dog tattooed on it.
Meaning: Kayzo loves dogs and has a few tattoos representing his love on his body. This tattoo might be a tribute to a dog he used to have. A similar dog also appears on the cover of one of his EPs.
20. Bicep Tattoo
Tattoo: Kayzo’s left bicep has the words, “OMNIA CAUSA FIUNT” tattooed on it. There is also a tattoo of a cartoon ghost of a white sheet tattooed on his bicep.
Meaning: The quote on his bicep is a motivational quote. The words, “Omnia Causa Fiunt” are Latin and translate to, “Everything happens for a reason“
