Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, commonly known as Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He released his first album in 2016 and the second one in 2018, accompanied by his Ivyson Tour. He is also the youngest one to ever win the Best Freshman Award at the South African Hip Hop Awards that he won in 2015 after releasing his mixtapes. Nasty has a few interesting tattoos on his body. 1. ‘Eye and Vine’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper part of his left forearm contains a tattoo of an eye on it. There are a few birds flying over the eye too and there is a huge vine that covers the area below the eye, covering the rest of his foreman.
Meaning: The vine on his forearm is an Ivy Vine and the tattoo represents the name of his first tour, the Ivyson Tour.
2. ‘Skull’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper left arm of the rapper contains a large tattoo design on it in the shape of a skull that contains little tattoo designs that contain a quote, a clock, and a metal tube.
3. Hand Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his left hand contains a tattoo of an eye, the letter, “V”, and a little sun.
Meaning: The tattoo design together spells out Ivyson (Eye-V-Sun) that represents the name of his first tour. What many people do not know is that the tattoo also represents the name of his beloved mother, Ivy who died some time ago.
4. ‘Ivyson’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right hand of the rapper contains the word, “IVYSON” tattooed on it.
Meaning: This tattoo also represents the name of his tour as well as his mother, Ivy just like his other ones.
5. ‘Fuel’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The left side of his chest contains a tattoo of a fuel gauge on it with the needle pointing near the empty side. There is also a little heart along with veins that can be seen below the fuel gauge design before the tattoo breaks.
6. ‘Umbrella’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of his right forearm contains a little umbrella tattooed on it with two handles and drops of rain are falling on it.
7. Chain Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a chain tattoo done around his right wrist that contains a string that reaches his right hand and ends there along with a pendant.
Meaning: The tattoo is a reference to his Zulu heritage and contains a pendant design from the same.
8. ‘DNA’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The left side of his stomach contains a tattoo of a DNA strand that is merged with the roots of a tree. The DNA strand below contains a tattoo design inspired by a shield.
Meaning: The DNA tattoo is a tribute tattoo to his roots that shows how he is proud of his Zulu heritage. The shield design is also inspired by Zulu weaponry.
9. ‘Spear and Pen’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of his stomach contains a tattoo of a spear alongside a pen on it. There is also a shallow tattoo of the baby’s footprint on his stomach.
Meaning: The spear is another piece of weaponry on his body that represents his love for his Zulu culture and the pen shows how much he loves writing music. There have been rumors that the right side of his body contains the name of his album, “Zulu Man with some power” tattooed on his but the tattoo has not been revealed by him yet.
