Sia has a lot of dog pictures on her forearm which look like drawings from a kid. Out of these pictures, some were drawn by her best friend and illustrator of a children’s book, and some of them were created by her fans. She started working on this theme on her arm in 2011 and asked fans for help. “Please draw and upload an outline of a dog so that I may tattoo it on my arm. I’m starting a dog park. Probs the shittest will cut,” she tweeted. “This whole dog outline for tattoos thing is blowing my mind! can’t wait to get them all!!!” Piece by piece, she has been filling in the whole forearm with goofy-looking dogs.

Zoey Deutch got a picture of her dog Maybelle on her calf. This tattoo was done by Dr. Woo. She has talked about it on several occasions and has even expressed her confused state on The Late Night Show with James Corden stating, “Can ask an honest question? Is it ‘www’? Or is it truly psycho that I got a portrait of my dog on a very exposed part of my body?” She also has the name of her dog tattooed on her ankle. She said, “I have ‘Maybelle’ tattooed on the other side of my ankle, so just in case I forget what she looks like or what her name is, I just look right down at my foot. And I know exactly what my dog is and what her name is, so that’s the good thing.”

Miley Cyrus also has a beautiful portrait of her Shetland sheepdog Emu inked on her arm from artist Dr. Woo on 28 April 2017. Dr. Woo even captioned the picture saying, “Placed a young Emu on his mom @mileycyrus #emufanclub.”

Kirstin Maldonado got herself a dog tattoo on her forearm in 2016. It is that of her husky pet, Olaf. Her dog was named after the snowman in the animated movie Frozen. He also has his own Instagram account with a ton of followers. The dog portrait is realistic and has black and grey ink with blue eyes. She made the trip from LA to NYC to get it inked by Stefano Alcantara. She even posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “In 2012 I swore I’d never get my first big(ger) tattoo/art if it wasn’t @stefanoalcantara !!! SO HAPPY??”
