John Gabbana (John Robert Hill Jr.) is an American rapper, stuntman, songwriter and social media personality previously known as Boonk Gang which is the nickname given to him by his mother. He released the single “Muttin” on iTunes in July of 2017 which earned him his fame as a rapper. John started writing songs and raps when he was a teenager after trying his luck in sports and track. He gained followers on Instagram by posting his stunt videos and social stints like taking food from local restaurants without paying. Some of his other popular songs include, “On Em” and “Back Den”. John released his own video game in 2017 called, “Boonk Gang: The Video Game” on both ios and android platforms. Just like most other contemporary rappers, John’s body also adorns many interesting tattoos on it many of which are yet to be seen as he rarely shows the ones on his arms. 1. Stars, Quote, and Year Tattoos
Tattoo: The chest of the rapper contains a tattoo of three stars out of which two have been darkened but the one in the middle is hollow. His chest also contains the quote, “Walk By Faith Not By Sight” tattooed across it. His chest also contains the words, “Est.” tattooed on it with the year, “1996” on it. The rest of his chest binds together these tattoos on the background of the night sky full of clouds, little stars, and a crescent moon. His neck and chest also contain a tattoo of a rosemary beaded necklace that reaches to his stomach and ends with a cross as a pendant.
Meaning: The stars on his chest go well with the night sky theme. The quote is from 2 Corinthians 5:7 and is one of his favorites. The date on his chest is his own year of birth. The cross along with the rosemary beaded necklace represents the religious views of the rapper.
2. Flame and Dove Tattoos
Tattoo: The upper side of his right forearm, near his wrist, is covered in a pattern of flames. The inner side of his right forearm contains a tattoo a dove on it.
3. West Side Tattoo
Tattoo: The front side of his neck, on his throat, contains a tattoo of the words, “West Side” on it along with red rays of light in the background of the tattoo.
Meaning: John got the words tattooed on his neck as he was raised on the west side of the city. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida.
4. Mouth Tattoo
Tattoo: The left shoulder of the rapper contains a tattoo of a mouth, open, showing its teeth along with the words, “Trust no bitch” inked on a teeth grill in front of the teeth.
Meaning: John is a very reserved person and does not trust anyone easily and this tattoo on his body shows his character.
5. HAHA, Word, and Crown Tattoo
Tattoo: John’s forehead is covered with tattoos of several “HAHA”s in both red and black inks. The area above his left eyebrow contains the word, “MISUNDERSTOOD” tattooed on it which reaches to the side of his eye. The area to the side of his right eyebrow contains a tattoo of a crown on it. There is also a small tattoo of a handicapable symbol right in the middle of his forehead.
Meaning: The HA HAs on his forehead are lines from Batman: The Dark Knight which reference to Heath Ledger’s Joker. John got this tattoo to his bent and insane side. The word “Misunderstood” also represents how he feels about himself.
6. Heart, Joker, and Japanese Tattoos
Tattoo: The right side of his face contains a few Japanese characters tattooed on it just above a broken heart. The word, “HA” is also tattooed just above the crack in the heart. The left cheek of the singer contains a tattoo of a small joker toy.
Meaning: The joker toy is another reference to Heath Ledger’s Joker and John’s own personality.
7. Dollar, Weed, and Word Tattoo
Tattoo: John’s left cheek contains a tattoo of a large Dollar Sign tattooed on it and a tattoo of a pot plant too. The rest of the left side of his face is covered in a few words and HAHA that comes down from his forehead. There is also a little heart along with the letters, “AB0S“tattooed vertically on this side of his face.
8. Scribbles Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of his face and his jaw contains scribbled design tattoos on it.
9. Pot Plants, Initials, and Number Tattoos
Tattoo: Both the biceps of the rapper contain tattoos on initials on it. The one on his right arm is “J” and the one on his left one is “H”. His left arm is covered in tattoos of pot plants at a few places. The number, “904” is tattooed on his belly. His stomach also contains a few outlines of unfinished tattoos on it.
Meaning: The “J” stands for his own name, John and “H” stands for the name of his mystery girlfriend. The 904 on his stomach is a reference to his area code in Florida where he resides.

Tattoo: The knuckles of his right hand contains little letters tattooed on them.
