Wood has some interesting inks covering his right arm. Let us take a look at what these are and the meanings behind them.
1. ‘Quote and Rose’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a quote tattooed on the player’s right shoulder. There is also a small dove bird above the quote and a rose flower below it.
Meaning: The quote on his arm represents the bible verse, Philippians 4:13. The verse says, “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me”. The tattoo represents his religious views and also how his God grants him strength.
2. ‘Skulls’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper part of his right forearm has a tattoo of three skulls on it. The first one has its hand covering its eye sockets, the second one has its hands covering its ears, and the third one has a hand over its mouth.
Meaning: The tattoo represents the theme of hearing no evil, seeing no evil, and speaking no evil tattoo. The original idea comes from a Japanese principle of three wise monkeys. This tattoo represents how the player feels about evil and how we should avoid spreading it.
3. ‘California’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The word, “California” is tattooed on the side of Christian’s right forearm.
Meaning: The tattoo of the city’s name on his arm is a tribute tattoo to the place he was born in. Wood was born on September 27, 1995, in Long Beach, California.
