Kevin Yanick Steen, better known by his ring name, Kevin Owens is a Canadian professional wrestler who competes in the WWE under SmackDown. Before joining the WWE in 2014, Kevin wrestled for ROH (Ring of Honor) where he won the ROH World Championship as well as the ROH Tag Team Championship. Kevin is regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world and has many championships under his belt.

Right Arm Tattoos
1. ‘Bull and Snake’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of the head of a bull on his right shoulder. There is also a tattoo of a snake on his right arm. The snake’s head is on the back of his upper arm and its tail is wrapped around a tree tattoo on his forearm.
Meaning: The tattoo of the bull on his shoulder represents his sun sign, Taurus. Kevin was born on 7 May 1984. He also shared that his wife also says that his personality matches that of a bull.
2. ‘Vulture’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a large vulture tattooed on his right arm with its wings spread. The vulture is sitting on top of the tree on his forearm.
Meaning: The tattoo of a vulture on one’s body represents one’s ability to attain life’s mission.
3. ‘Panda and Gorilla’ Tattoos
Tattoo: The right bicep of the wrestler has a tattoo of a panda on it and the inside of his forearm has a tattoo of the face of a gorilla on it.
Meaning: Kevin got this tattoo and a fan asked him the meaning behind it on Twitter. He replied, “Because of animals.”
4. ‘Tree’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tree tattooed on the upper part of his right forearm. The tattoo also has a cloudy background and the snake on the backside of Owens’s upper arm has its tails wrapped around the bark of the tree.
5. ‘Beast’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The word, “BEAST” is tattooed on Kevin’s right hand near his thumb.
6. ‘Karina’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The name, “KARINA” is also tattooed on the inside of his right wrist.
Meaning: The tattoo of the name on his wrist represents his love for his spouse, Karina Leilas.
Left Arm Tattoos
7. ‘Live and Name’ Tattoos
Tattoo: The inside of his left forearm has a tattoo of the word, “LIVE” on it. The letter “E” is mirrored in the word that makes another word too. The names, “OWEN” and “ELODIE” are also tattooed on the inside of his left wrist.
Meaning: The tattoo on his arm reads “LIVE” as well as “EVIL” if you read it backward. This is a matching tattoo that he got with his friend and mentor, wrestler Steve Corin. He said, “At one point we were going through some things in each of our personal lives, we were just going through some rough stuff, and we decided to get a tattoo that says ‘Live,’ just as a bond with each other – we’d have the same tattoo.” The tattoo of the names on his wrist represents the name of his beloved children, Owen and Elodie.
8. ‘Skull’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a skull tattooed on Kevin’s left hand that also has a pair of golf clubs tattooed below it in the shape of a cross.
9. ‘Letters’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The letters, “MSPB” are tattooed on the fingers of his left hand.
Meaning: The letters represent the initials of his grandfathers, Melvin Steen and Pierre Benoit. While talking about the tattoo, he said, “A little over four years ago, on January 21, 2012, my grandfather Pierre Benoit passed away. He is the toughest man I have ever met. I lived with him for many years. He didn’t talk much, yet the bond we share and the impact he had on me will always remain. Today three years ago, on January 31, 2013, I lost my other grandfather, Melvin Steen memories of him taking me to WWE shows as a child, the look in his eyes, and the hug he gave me after seeing my first fight are things I will never forget. They both passed away before I came to WWE but they will always be with me”
He added, explaining the meaning behind his tattoo saying, “If I have one regret, it’s that I didn’t get to make it to the WWE before they passed away, because it would have made them so proud, so I decided to go the extra mile and have their initials tattooed on my knuckles so that they’re always with me”
10. ‘Dinosaur’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of a dinosaur on his left arm. The dinosaur is not alive and is in the form of a skeleton.
11. ‘Skeleton’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is one more skeleton of a dinosaur tattooed on his left forearm.

12. ‘K’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The letter, “K” is tattooed on his right calf, a little above his ankle.
Meaning: The tattoo of the letter is a matching tattoo that he got with his spouse. The letter represents her name, Karina. He revealed the story behind the tattoo saying, “When I met my wife – her name’s Karina – she changed everything I knew about life because I couldn’t imagine meeting someone who would make me feel that way. So a month after we met, we went to get a tattoo, and it was very small, I just got this little ‘K’ and then she got a ‘K’ on her pelvis for ‘Kevin'”
