Rakim Allen, better known by his stage name, PnB Rock is an American rapper, composer, singer, and actor. He is most widely known for his hit singles, “Fleek” and “Selfish” which also peaked at no 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. His double studio album is also quite famous which was released in 2019 under the title, “Trapstar Turnt Popstar”. In June 2017, Allen was also chosen for the XXL Freshman Class magazine. Rakim has many interesting tattoos on his body. His tattooed are limited to his neck, arms, and chest. He does not want to get a tattoo on his back as he is too skinny and it would not look nice. 1. Letters Tattoo
Tattoo: Each of his hand contains a letter tattooed on it. His right one contains R and his left one contains A.
Meaning: Allen got this tattoo when he was in 6th grade and the letters represent his name, Rakim Allen. His younger brother also got a similar tattoo.
2. Trap Star Tattoo
Tattoo: Each of his knuckles contains a letter inked on it that together make the words, “TRAP STAR”. His right hand’s knuckles contain TRAP and his left hand’s knuckles contain STAR. The A has been replaced by a tattoo of a Star on his left hand’s ring finger.
Meaning: The words, Trap Star were tattooed on his hands in 2011 and the name is actually for his Trap Star merchandise.
3. RIP Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of both of his forearms contain the words, “RIP” and “MOE” tattooed on them. The inner side of his right one contains RIP and the inner side of his left one contains the name MOE.
Meaning: The tattoo is one of the most important tattoos on his body as it is a tribute to his uncle, Moe whom he adored very much.
4. Sunrise and Sunset Tattoos
Tattoo: The inner side of his wrist contain two more tattoos dedicated to a loved one. The inner side of his right wrist contains the word, “Sunrise” tattooed on it along with the numbers, 12-20, 1980 on it. His left one contains the words, “Sunset” along with the numbers, 7-12, 2007.
Meaning: The dates along with Sunrise represent the date of birth of his uncle Moe, December 12, 1980, and the dates along with Sunset represent the day that he died which is July 12, 2007. The dates go well with his RIP tattoo for his beloved uncle Moe.
5. 357 Gun Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his left forearm contains a tattoo of a gun along with a few bullets.
Meaning: The gun is a .357 Magnum which he liked so he got it tattooed on his body.
6. Tommy Gun Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his right forearm contains a tattoo of a Tommy Gun.
Meaning: He got this tattoo when he first saw someone carrying it on his block.
7. Respect Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his right wrist contains a tattoo of the word, “Respect” on it.
Meaning: He had not planned on getting this tattoo but just got it to fill the space.
8. Loyalty Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his left wrist contains the word, “Loyalty” tattooed on it. The tattoo is rarely seen as PnB wears a lot of bling but it exists.
Meaning: This was also done just to fill the space and the only reason that he got the loyalty on his left arm and Respect on his right as Loyalty starts with an l just like left and Respect starts with R, just like right. These were done in his early 2010’s when he was randomly getting inked.
9. Boombox Tattoo
Tattoo: The backside of the singer’s neck contains a tattoo of a boombox on it.
Meaning: Allen got this tattoo to cover up a tattoo that he got for his ex. This is also his favorite tattoo on his body as it represents his love for music.
10. Top Side Tattoo
Tattoo: The sides of his forearms contain a few more words tattooed on them. The right one contains the word, “TOP” and the left one contains the word, “SIDE” tattooed on it.
Meaning: The tattoos together make the word, Top Side which is the name of his neighborhood. His neighborhood is called PnB which is the inspiration behind his name but it used to be called Top Side, before PnB which is why he got it tattooed on his body to pay respects to the older one.
11. Nike Tattoo
Tattoo: The front side of his neck contains a tattoo of the Nike logo along with the words, “Jus Do Me” tattooed around the logo. The rest of his neck contains flames and little stars and music notes to complete his neck tattoo.
Meaning: This is one of his tattoos that he got on impulse but hates that he has it now.
12. Philly and Eye Tattoo
Tattoo: The chest of the singer contains a tattoo of a line of buildings representing the Philadephia skyline along with the word, Philly tattooed on his right pec, above the buildings. The sky above is also filled with little tattoos of stars and dollar signs. The upper part of his chest contains a tattoo of an eye inside a triangle.
Meaning: He has got the Philadelphia skyline along with the word, Philly on his body to show his love for his hometown. The eye inside the triangle on his chest is the Eye of Providence that is used in Christianity to represent the eye of God watching over humanity.
13. Barcode Tattoo
Tattoo: The left side of his neck contains a tattoo of a barcode along with the numbers, “1033041” below it. Above it is also a tattoo of a large music note and the flames from his other tattoo, mix both of these up.
Meaning: The number is what he calls his jail number as it is his social security code that he needs whenever he gets locked up. He kept forgetting it so he got it tattooed on his body.
14. WB Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of his neck contains the letters, “WB” tattooed on it inside a design.
Meaning: It is the logo of the Warner Brothers that he got on his neck when he was young. It is also another of his tattoos that he regrets having and jokes that it also has another meaning as his neighborhood, “PnB” used to have a bacon shop with the same initials as he has on his neck.
