Aron Einar Malmquist Gunnarsson is an Icelandic professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder for the Qatar club, Al-Arabi and is known for his defensive playing style, even from the midfield. And his right pec contains a tattoo of a person wielding a large hammer with thunderous skies behind him. 2. Back Tattoo
Tattoo: The midfielder’s back is covered in one of the most beautiful tattoos you will ever see. His back contains a tattoo of a bull, a man, a dragon and a bird, all standing on a stone holding the flag of the colors of Iceland.
Meaning: The tattoo is actually called, “skjaldamerkið” which is the Coat of Arms of Iceland. It is a silver-edged red cross done on a blue shield. The shield is resting on a stone. And behind the shield is a Rock Giant (Bergrisi), a Bull (Griðungur), a Griffin (Gammur), and a Dragon (Dreki).
3. ‘Scenery’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right forearm of the footballer contains a tattoo of the scenery of an old castle overlooking a stream flowing with a small bridge and rocks at the river banks.
4. ‘607’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The footballer’s right hand contains the numbers, “607” tattooed on it. Just below the numbers, is the letter A inked.
Meaning: The “A” tattoo represents his love for his son, Aron Gunnarsson Jr.
