Eric Whitney better known as Ghostemane or Eric Ghoste is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter by profession. His idea of rapping and singing revolves around the merging of elements like heavy metal, hip hop, and industrial music. Also, he is known to have stepped into local hardcore punk about Florida, since he was raised up there. Interestingly, he used to work in B2B job positions before entering into rapping. Eric has a huge number of tattoos on his body. Let us explore them.
1. Ambititious Tattoo
Tattoo: Across his lower abdomen, GHOSTEMANE has got the word, ‘Ambitious’ inked.
Meaning: The decision of having this word inked is itself an answer to GHOSTEMANE’S personality. His works and hard work is enough for us to understand how ambitious a person he is.

Tattoo: Across his neck, Eric has got some lines inked.
Meaning: The lines are probably from the poem which his father used to recite to him. His father died when he was just 17. Eric shared a very close bond with his father and his sudden death was a shock for him. The lines are taken from the poem where an angel used to guard a child however when he realises he is hitting old age, he tells the child to take his life independently and confidently from there onwards. It was his first tattoo.
“It’s about this angel carrying a child, and then he hits a point where he’s coming of age, and he basically tells the child that he has to take it from here. And it always stuck with me, because I felt like until that point where he died, he was sort of… guiding, for lack of a better word… but really just controlling every bit of my life, actually. Once he was gone, I had to grow up, really quick.”
“I didn’t really know how to feel,” he explains. “I obviously missed him to an extent, but I didn’t want him back. I was glad that he wasn’t there anymore. And I wouldn’t change that at all, because if it didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing now.”
