Hayley Nichole Williams is an American Singer, Songwriter, Businesswoman, and a Musician. She is the lead vocalist of the music band, Paramore. Hayley has collaborated with numerous artists with her song, Airplanes ft. Bob hitting the top of the charts. The song became so famous that she released a part II of the same song which included new verses by Bob and Eminem. 1. ‘Knuckles’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Hayley’s left index, middle and ring fingers have the tattoo of black boxes.
Meaning: This tattoo was done to cover up the initials tattoo, CEG she had of her ex, Chad Gilbert. She got boxes tattooed on her initials because she just did not want to look at them anymore.
2. ‘Teeth and AL’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo made from a line which resembles two teeth with a gap between them on Hayley’s left wrist. Just beside this tattoo, are the letters AL inked.
Meaning: The teeth became a logo which was featured during tour one of their albums, “After Laughter”. AL also stands for Paramore’s album, After Laughter.
3. Car Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of the “Mirthmobile” car from Wayne’s World, driving into a rose on the front side of her right leg.
Meaning: Hayley and her sister got this matching tattoo on her sister, Erica’s 18th birthday.
4. ‘Envelope and the Cross’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a red and black tattoo of a hand holding an envelope and ribbons on Hayley’s right thigh. Just below this tattoo is an ink of a solid black Cross.
Meaning: Hayley explained the tattoo by saying, “To do what we love we miss the ones we love. Long distance letters and phone calls and anything to make the distance disappear! That’s what this means to me.” The Cross represents Hayley’s religious beliefs. Hayley said while explaining the ink which she got in 2010, “My faith is the only thing that never fails me”
5. ‘TCB’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The letters TCB are inked on the back side of the singer’s left arm just above her elbow along with a lightning bolt.
Meaning: TCB stands for, “Takin’ Care of Business.” TCB was the motto of Elvis Presley and his TCB band. Hayley got this tattoo because Elvis is her idol.
6. ‘Quote and the Heart’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Hayley has a quote inked on the inner side of her left wrist along with a heart which reads, “Accentuate the positive / Eliminate the negative.”
Meaning: These are lines from the Johnny Mercer song, “Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive” which is one of Hayley’s favorites.
7. ‘Flowers’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of flowers on the left side of Hayley’s body.
Meaning: Hayley explained the tattoo by saying that the tattoo represents her and her two sisters, Erica and McKayla.
She said, ” It represents me and my 2 sisters. Each unique and yet still growing together.”
8. ‘Logo’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of her left wrist contains the tattoo of a logo which is a box with three lines.
Meaning: The logo is for her band, Paramore and the lines represent the three members, Hayley, guitarist Taylor York, and bassist Jeremy Davis. All the members of the band have this matching tattoo.
9. ‘WARPED!’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a tattoo of a cloud with lightning and the word, WARPED! inked above it inked behind her ear.
Meaning: Hayley got this tattoo in memory of experiencing a storm while on Cleveland Warped Tour.
She said, “My <3 for warped tour. (minus all the horrific bands on this year). 2 years ago in Cleveland, we almost died in the storm on Warped!!! and our fans stuck around and waited for us for at least an hour. We went on anyways and played one of the most fun sets of the whole tour. So memorable. Then this year, we got to surprise Warped in Cleveland. The weather was perfect. I wanted something to remind me of some of my best Warped memories. No more “tour/bro” tats for me after that one!”
10. ‘Ankle’ Tattoos
Tattoo: The inner side of her right ankle contains the tattoo of a heart with patches over it. Just above the heart is the letters HHT inked. Above the heart is the tattoo of a pink razor blade wrapped in a banner that reads, “SHAVE ME”
Meaning: The heart and the letters, HHT stand for Hurting Hearts Tour. The Razorblade tattoo is a reminder of her touring life.
She wrote, “I have this ‘reminder’ tattoo on my leg. Sort of a tribute to my days of touring and living like one of the boys. It says ‘shave me’ in a neat little banner… but I don’t think it’s going to help this time!”
