Michael Bakari Jordan is an American actor and producer. The actor is best known for his role as boxer Adonis Creed in the Rocky sequel, Creed (2015) and the chief antagonist Erik Killmonger in Black Panther (2018). He started out as a kid, modeling for many brands and has also appeared in many TV shows like Parenthood, All My Children, and The Wire. Michael has also appeared in video games such as Creed: Rise to Glory and NBA2K17.

1. ‘Map and Eye’ Tattoo

Tattoo: The left side of the actor’s upper back contains a tattoo of an outline of a map. There is also an eye tattooed inside the outline.

Meaning: The map outline is of the continent of Africa and the eye inside it is the Egyptian symbol, known as the Eye of Horus that is the symbol of protection, royal power, and good health which is the reason he got it on his body. Michael got the tattoo of the outline of Africa to help him prepare for his role in Black Panther as it is the country where the fictional city of Wakanda is situated in the film that is his home.
