Pharrell Lanscilo Williams is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, fashion designer, record producer, and entrepreneur. Pharrell is the lead vocalist of the band, N*E*R*D which he formed with his childhood friend, Shay Haley and Chad Hugo. He and Chad produced the duo, The Neptunes in 1994 which has earned him two Grammy Awards. Pharrell has won 11 Grammy Awards, 2 Academy Award nominations. He is most famous for his collaborations in Despicable me series, Get Lucky, Lose Yourself To Dance, Blurred Lines, and Girl. He has also appeared as a judge and coach on The Voice. Pharrell launched “I am OTHER”, which is a multimedia creative collective, a record label, and the umbrella for several other businesses that Pharrel has. 1. Angel Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of Pharrell’s neck contains a tattoo of an angel carrying a shield.
Meaning: The angel is actually Archangel Michael, always depicted as an angelic warrior carrying a shield, also known as the angel of protection that is the reason why Pharrell got this tattoo.
NOTE: Pharrell’s arms were covered in many interesting tattoos but he did not like them anymore so he got them removed. At first, he wanted to get skin grafts but then he went for laser removal. He still has to undergo a few more sessions to remove the little traces that are left. However, he has no plans to remove his neck tattoo of Archangel Michael.
