Joshua Jacobs is an American football player who plays as a running back in the NFL for the Las Vegas Raiders. He attended the University of Alabama and was drafted by the raiders in the 2019 NFL draft. Josh only has two tattoos on his body. Let us take a look at them and the meanings behind them.
1. Lion Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of the player’s right forearm contains a tattoo of the face of a lion on it. The lion is also wearing a crown upon its head.
Meaning: The lion is the king of the jungle and a symbol of bravery and courage which is why Josh got this tattoo on his body.
2. ‘Raider’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Josh got a tattoo of a skull with two swords behind it in the shape of a cross on his left arm, on the inner side of his forearm near his elbow. The skull and swords are done on a black patch and Josh posted the tattoo on his Instagram story.
Meaning: Josh got this matching tattoo along with Clelin Ferrell. They both got this tattoo of the logo to show their love and respect to their team, Las Vegas Raiders.
3. Skull Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his right hand contains a tattoo of the lower part of a skull on it.
Meaning: The tattoo serves as a mask for the lower half of his face if he puts his hand on his face. This is another tattoo that shows his love for his team, the Las Vegas Raiders as the raiders’ logo contains a skull.
4. Portrait Tattoo
Tattoo: Josh’s left hand contains a tattoo of a portrait of the face of a girl on it.
Meaning: The girl in the tattoo portrait on his hand is his beloved girlfriend, Joy Gentry.
5. Tulsa Tattoo
Tattoo: The lower side of his left forearm contains letters in different patterns tattooed on it that form the word, “TULSA”
Meaning: The tattoo on his forearm is a tribute tattoo to his hometown, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Josh was born and grew up in Tulsa and attended the McLain High School where he started playing football for his High School Team, The Titans.
6. Warrior Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his right forearm is covered in a large tattoo of a warrior that is holding a large shield with a cross on it in one hand and a spear in his other one. Rays of light using lines are also done behind the head of the warrior.
There are a few more tattoos on his upper arms too but they have not been revealed by him anywhere.
