Emma Stone’s tattoo design was crafted by none other than the Beatles legend, Paul McCartney, on her endless priority terms. Stone got it matching with her lovely mother back in 2010 in order to rejoice her mom’s well-being after fighting against breast cancer for long two years. The tattoo she wears is of a bird’s footprints. This has a symbolic value as it is in in canonization of her mother’s favorite song “Blackbird” by Paul McCartney and Emma kind of managed to get Paul McCartney himself to design it. Check out below what her tattoo means.
1. Wrist Tattoo
Emma Stone has got a bird’s feet tattoo on her wrist, a replica of what her mom is having after she recovered from the knuckles of cancer. A bird feet tattoo symbol is to signify some fortune or good omen and forward authority-might and main.
When asked upon, Emma told David Letterman, “My mom’s favorite song is Blackbird by Paul McCartney, and it’s my favorite song as well. I wrote a letter to Paul McCartney asking him if he would draw two little bird feet – because he wrote the song – and yesterday he sent them to me…Custom tattoos by Paul McCartney. Isn’t that wild? Unbelievable. He’s a good guy.”
