James Edward “Jimmie” Allen is an American singer and songwriter. He is currently signed with Broken Bow Records and has released a couple of singles and the album, Mercury Lane. Jimmie has many interesting tattoos on his body. Let us take a look at them and the meanings behind them.
1. ‘Rose’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a large rose flower tattooed on the singer’s left upper arm.
2. ‘Stag’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The upper side of his left forearm has a silhouette of a stag tattooed on it. The stag is standing in between large fir trees with the moon covered by clouds and owls are tattooed above its head.
Meaning: The stag tattooed on his arm running through the forest is a symbol of his strength, power, and virility.
3. ‘Quill’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a quill tattooed on the outer side of his left forearm.
Meaning: Jimmie’s quill tattoo represents the thing that he loves, which is writing. Though he is a songwriter, the quill also represents his qualities for writing books. Jimmie recently became an author and released his book, “My Voice is a Trumpet”
4. ‘Keys’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The inner side of his left forearm has a tattoo of piano keys tattooed on it.
Meaning: The tattoo of the piano keys represents his love for the instrument as well as music which made him want to join the music industry.
5. ‘Guitar’ Tattoo
Tattoo: There is a guitar tattooed on the singer’s right upper arm with the letters, “ACG” tattooed below it.
6. ‘Names’ Tattoo
Tattoo: Jimmie’s left pec has three names tattooed on it. The names are, “Angela”, “Christie”, and “Danyell”. There is another flower tattooed on his left shoulder.
Meaning: The names on his chest represent the names of his family members. Little is known about his personal life but he is married to Alexis Gale and the couple has a daughter, Naomi. Jimmie also has a son, Aadyn from his previous relationship.
7. ‘Truth’ Tattoo
Tattoo: The right side of Jimmie’s neck has the words, “D TRUTH” tattooed on it.
Meaning: Many people have tattoos that they regret getting and this is the one that Jimmie regrets. Jimmie was just 16 when he got this tattoo and it was his first one. He went to a friend but the tattoo ended up being something entirely different. Jimmie said, “I wanted a tattoo to say, in small letters, “The truth will set you free” and “This idiot is writing “DA TRUTH” and it’s huge!”
